Quality Engineer (Customer)

RM Schulte has partnered with a local automotive manufacturing company to hire a Quality Engineer GENERAL PURPOSE:
Responsibilities include handling quality assurance activities relating to the customer process, development of new product, prevention analysis and on-going development of continuous improvement methods and programs. Must provide strong leadership and communication both within and outside the department.
Essential Functions:
- Problem analysis and mistake-proofing countermeasure investigation and evaluation - Review and evaluate process changes - Work to resolve customer quality concerns by facilitating activity with Internal QAE, manufacturing and production engineering personnel - Create clear quality standards and ensure their implementation Key Quality Check Standard, Critical Process Check Standards, Daily Production and Quality Standard, QA data sheets. o Develop check fixtures and evaluation methods to confirm product quality. o Ensure test methods, equipment and programming is correct. o Assist the development of test fixtures and procedures for new programs and identify continuous improvement ideas for current and new products. - Timely investigation and disposition of product abnormalities. - Ensure that department reports and distribution are timely and accurate for both within and outside the department and company - New product preparation and evaluation. (APQP and PPAP) - Develop and maintain new product evaluation schedule to ensure compliance to both company and Customer standards - Attend initial builds at customer line to address concerns and represent the company's commitment to quality - Perform periodic pro-active customer visits - Communicate with the customer relating to quality issues - Participate in and support QA Target Management activities OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB INFORMATION:
- Perform periodic product and process audits and evaluate the ability of the process to produce good parts - Assist Team Leaders in training associates on key quality checks - Assist in the development of SPC check points - Assist in the development of the company's suppliers - Associates at all levels must maintain their Roles and Responsibilities as outlined within the company's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IATF16949, ISO9001 and ISO 14001. These industry standards are necessary to ensure continued Customer Satisfaction in relationship with the philosophy of Continuous Quality Improvement MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The minimum qualifications needed to perform the essential functions of the job such as education, competencies, experience, knowledge and skills. This should include any specialized knowledge and expertise applicable to the job. - Bachelor Degree in Engineering or 3-5 years equivalent training and experience - Ability to understand part function and manufacturing processes - Project planning and management - Ability to manage multiple tasks - Effective Communication sills (with customers and associates) - System and process evaluation skills - Ability to determine process improvement for Kaizen activity and/or countermeasure activity. - Ability to lead countermeasure and Kaizen Teams - Ability to travel, sometimes with short notice
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Quality AssuranceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
