Annual Salary, Dependent on relevant experience A world class manufacturer of high-quality production systems and universal machining centers is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their growing team! The Controls Engineer will create software applications for custom engineered machine tools, primarily focusing on industrial robotics and industrial vision system applications. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for:
Designing and developing systems for manufacturing operations. Machine tool troubleshooting Working with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Making program and wiring changes. Mechanical troubleshooting and making minor adjustment/repairs with an emphasis on electrical startup and program changes PLC programming and troubleshooting NC programming and troubleshooting Robot programming and integration (ABB & Fanuc) Electrical hardware troubleshooting Servo drive parameterization and tuning Networking of machines to plant network and other machines Assisting with customer part runoffs and final acceptance The Controls Engineer will excel with:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred Understanding of electrical circuits, controls, schematics and troubleshooting of machines Good knowledge of industrial robotics systems (e.g. FANUC, ABB, KUKA) is required Good knowledge of industrial vision application (e.g. Cognex, Dalsa) is required PC Computer experience including Windows operating systems and applications Proficient with MS Office products (especially Excel) Computer programming experience (examples:
C/C++, VISUAL BASIC) is a plus Willing to travel both international and domestic as requested Must be able to communicate well with clients - both oral and written Ability to work in a project team Secure and maintain a valid passport The Controls Engineer will be rewarded with:
