Qualifications:

An example of an acceptable qualification for this position:
Associate's degree in Business Administration, Gerontology, or related field; experience in marketing, preferably in a senior-care environment; experience or interest in working with older adults; or anyequivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
(1) Establishes and maintains open and effective communication with elders, families, employees, sales consultants, community members, Chief Operating Officer of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, and other leaders of MHCO.
(2) Documents and maintains detailed, complete, thorough, and objective documentation in Point ClickCare Customer Relationship Management software relating to marketing events and referral sources sales calls and visits.
(3) Promotes Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) in a positive way through professional sales, marketing, and public relations work; (4) Develops and implements a quarterly marketing and public relations plan for MHCO; (5) Plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates marketing activities (e.
g.
, health fairs, community events, etc.
); (6) Prepares special events, senior events, advertisements, press releases, brochures, and reports utilizing initiative and independent judgment with approval and consultation with the Chief Operating Officer of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio or the VP & Chief Marketing Officer at Brethren RetirementCommunity; (7) Manages and updates MHCO's website and social media accounts with consistent updates, pictures and events;(8) Maintains effective networking relationships with local healthcare providers and public and private organizations to promote services offered by MHCO; (9) Researches and writes accurate, meaningful, and readable copy for publication; (10) Actively works with the Director of Resource Development on fundraising events, including but not limited to the annual Gala.
(11) Travels occasionally to attend and participate in meetings, conferences, and seminars, as assignedand for marketing and public relations responsibilities(12) Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
(13) Maintains all required licensure and certifications; attends continuing education programs to keep informed of current trends with special emphasis on gerontology.
(14) Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions; serves as role model in the implementation of policy and OSHA standard on Universal Precaution ensuring staff compliance; oversees handling of on-the-job injuries as reported by staff to ensure procedures are followed appropriately; reports on-the-job injuries before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
(15) Maintains confidentiality as appropriate under Employer policy and all applicable laws and regulations.
(16) Complies with all Corporate Compliance Policies and the Code of Ethics.
OTHER DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
(17) Enhances customer relations with appropriate and professional behavior and attire.
(18) Performs any and all other related duties as assigned or directed in order to promote, further, and ensure the caring, effective and efficient operation of the facilities of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio.
(19) Recruits and oversees the MHCO volunteers and works with all campuses in providing volunteer services.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
