Customer Service Representative

Spherion Staffing Services is NOW HIRING internally for a Customer Service Representative for an on-site client in Bluffton, OH! Position is Full-Time and available on 2nd Shift. JOB DUTIES AND Responsibilities:
o Function as a liason between Spherion, the client, the employee and the community
o Handle incoming phone calls. Answer the phone in a cheerful and professional manner by the third ring
o Take messages for client orders over the phone. Take accurate messages and distribute to the appropriate person
o Greet all applicants and guests immediately in a cheerful and professional manner
o Conduct reference checks on applicants
o Data entry, typing, faxing, filing and general clerical
o Screen and evaluate qualified applicants for temporary assignments
o Participate in orientation of new employees
o Interview qualified applicants
o Talent market available employees to clients/prospects
o Assist in filling client orders with qualified/appropriate employees
o Communicate status of work to supervisor
o Provide timely and thorough service to clients
o Communicate with clients as well as field and office personnel in a warm and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibiity and rapport
o Maintain a mature problem solving attitude under stressful circumstances
o Make decisions to resolve client complaints
o Take the initiative to make suggestions to solve problems and improve production
o Make self-development efforts ex. Skillport classes, seminar, training as offered
o Inform a supervisor about a problem and recommend a solution
o Complete work in an accurate and timely fashion
o Make sure work meets quality standards
o Show pride in your work. Follow the Spherion of Lima, Inc's handbook concerning appropriate dress code, to be given to you by your manager
o Set an example of high quality work for team members or peers
o Any other duties as assigned by management
o Minimum of one-year experience in a fast paced, customer service environment either through employment or education
o Proficiency in MS applications
o Must be adaptable, flexible and maintain effectiveness during change
o Strong communication and problem solving abilities
o History of success evidenced by increased responsibilities and/or promotions
o Performance review every 60 days and/or to be considered for the next level CSR

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
